“ First time to Brookland Eats. I’ll be back. Atmosphere was good. Food was great. I had the French dip and loved it. The hush puppies are really good. I’ll be bringing the wife next time. ”
“ UPDATE: (see below) First official dining experience here in the entire time I've been living in the area (almost 3yr) I took my daughter here for Valentine's Day for dinner. Got right in with a great view of the kitchen window. This was a great experience start to finish. My daughter has the Seabass and just look at these photos! Second visit here personally, for another Valentine's dinner. I cannot rave enough FYI! The social media marketing enticed me to visit again. We ordered from their special menu for the evening. I made reservations this year, and had only 2 choices for time slots. Yet another great experience start to finish. Ordered the Tomahawk Chop, with salads, and dessert. The Chop was nothing less than a perfectly cooked steak. (the fat marbling truly just melted away while eating the meat) ordered Med and it was spot on! We were informed at the cook time when ordering (great staff training). The tomahawk chop (for those who aren't aware) is a bone-in cut weighing in @ over 40oz. and the bone was HUGE! now look at the photos. ”
“ First time eating there and the food was great! My wife and I made a meal out of sharing several of their appetizers which were very fresh and tasty! We'll go back again next time we're in Roxboro! We had: Spinach dip with pita points Sweet potato hush puppies Pecan shrimp ”
“ A good friend of mine highly recommended this place, so we decided to check it out today—and it did not disappoint! Our server was incredibly friendly and offered some great suggestions. I went with the French dip, which was delicious. My wife opted for a hamburger, cooked to absolute perfection and bursting with flavor. My mother chose the fish and chips, which were equally impressive. Overall, the food and service were fantastic. I would definitely come back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great meal. ”
“ Me and my boyfriend Skylor Clark was in there today at 11:06am today 02/26/2025 and it was my first time in there ever, and he hasn’t been in there in a while, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the service was great, no complaints, the food was great and was delicious, it didn’t take long for the food to be ready and served to us the waitress was very nice. I will definitely be back. The place was very nice. ”
“ I had to travel to Roxboro for work and needed to grab dinner. I found that the city doesn't not have a lot of options. This place was the only resturant only 8pm. You could tell this was the "nice" place to eat in the area. It was not fancy, but you saw birthday and business dinner parties going on. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting and the staff was super friendly. Now, I know people have their option of the best chicken sandwich. If ypu are anywhere near here, please compare your pick against this sandwich. First, look at the size of that chicken. It was literally hanging off the bun. Second, it was cooked perfectly. Third, the sweet potatoes fries were the perfect side. This place was a hit! ”
“ This restaurant has the best tasting hamburgers I have ever had except for a restaurant in New York City. Servers are great and cleanliness is excellent. Their sanitation rating is 100%!! ”
“ What a great find in Roxboro. We were on the way back from the casino in Danville and stopped by for a nice lunch. Did a quick search and this place came up. Never been so we figured we give them a try. They have been open since 2013 and am embarrassed we never been. Wow did we mis out. I ordered the steak and my wife the chicken sandwich along with catfish bites. All were fantastic. And the service was super. The server was professional and quick with the food as it came out. We will definitely be back. ”
